Clear your browser cache

When you use a web browser (Internet Explorer, Opera, etc.) and web pages to display these files are automatically saved on your computer. These are known as browser cache or temporary Internet files.

Each user of the browser to another location on your computer to save its 'cache', and each browser has its own way of clearing this cache. If these are not cleaned regularly they can consume a large amount of space on your computer!

Here we show you a step by step method for cleaning browser, Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox.

Internet Explorer
The first step to clearing your cache / temporary Internet files in Internet Explorer is to open a browser window and select 'Tools' from the top menu and then select 'Internet Options' (last item).

Once this office until the window, we are looking for the button 'Delete Files'. Click this button and select the box 'Delete all offline content' then click Ok. This may take a while 'to process, if there are a lot of files to delete. Once done, click OK and close the''window of the control panel.

Opera
To clean the cache of Opera open the browser and then select 'Tools' menu at the top, and down to 'Preferences'. On the left side of the screen, the preferences, choose the label of History 'and Cache'. On the right side of the window you have a button that says 'now Empty', select this button. If you have a lot of files in the cache this may take a while 'to process. Once done, click OK''and then close the browser window.

Firefox
Cleaning the cache of Firefox is similar to other browsers. First, open a Firefox browser window, and click on 'Tools' menu at the top. Then go to Options'. When the window is open, click the Privacy icon (on left). Screen on the right, there will be a button down the bottom that says 'Clear', which is to the right of the word 'Cache'. Click this button to clear the cache in Firefox. Once done, click OK and close the browser window.
